The
intentional
Journey
Beginning in November 2026, I’ll be slow traveling across Central and South America… exploring culture, community, food, beauty, and the deeper question of what truly makes somewhere feel like home. But this journey is about more than travel.
It’s about curiosity.
Freedom.
Connection.
Reinvention.
And creating a life that feels aligned from the inside out.
I won’t be rushing from country to country checking destinations off a list.
I’ll stay long enough to experience real life.
To build routines.
To learn neighborhoods.
To become a regular somewhere.
To discover the ordinary rhythms that slowly make a place feel familiar.
Somewhere along the way, I may discover my next home.
Or maybe I’ll simply discover new versions of myself.
Either way… that feels worth documenting.

For most of my life, I thought home was a place you arrived at.
Now I believe home is something you create.
Mérida taught me that.
It taught me that I could build a life from scratch — that I could choose a place intentionally, build community, create routines, and slowly make a life that felt like mine. Not inherited. Not accidental. Chosen. And that changed everything.
Some places become part of who you are. Others prepare you for who you are becoming.Mérida was both. And what I learned there — that a beautiful life can be built deliberately, anywhere — is exactly what I’m carrying into what comes next.
Beginning in November 2026, I’m slow traveling across Central and South America.
Not to check countries off a list. But to find the local restaurant I can’t stop going back to. The market I visit every week. The karaoke spot that starts to feel familiar. The neighborhood that slowly becomes mine. The small moments that turn a place into something meaningful.
Because the best parts of a place are rarely on the itinerary.
They live in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life — in the unhurried, unscripted, unremarkable moments that only reveal themselves when you stop passing through and start actually showing up.
The Intentional Journey is rooted in one belief: there is more than one way to build a beautiful life.
And maybe home is less about where you live — and more about how you feel when you’re there.
If that idea resonates with you — if you’ve ever wondered whether a different kind of life might be possible — I’d love for you to come along.
