Once I announced that I was leaving Mexico after four years, the next question was pretty obvious:
Where are you going?
The answer wasn’t one place.
Instead of leaving Mérida and immediately settling somewhere new, I decided to slow down and explore what life could look like in different parts of Latin America.
That’s how The Intentional Journey began.
This isn’t a vacation or a race to check countries off a list. I’m slow traveling and spending enough time in each destination to experience something closer to everyday life.
I’m looking at the things that matter when you’re considering actually living somewhere… cost of living, walkability, housing, food, culture, conveniences and, maybe most importantly, how a place feels once you settle into a normal routine.
The goal isn’t simply to find another beautiful city.
I’ve already had that.
The goal is to discover where I want to build the next chapter of my life.
So what’s next after Mexico?
For now… exploration.
Watch the video below as I share more about what’s next and the journey I’m about to begin.
